Unmasking Influenza further discusses the Spanish Flu’s impact on Canada and whether or not Canada is prepared for the next deadly pandemic. The evening will be hosted by award-winning author, playwright and science journalist Alanna Mitchell and features Canada’s chief medical officer Dr. Teresa Tam and Esyllt Jones, a University of Manitoba history professor and author of Influenza 1918: Death, Disease and Struggle in Winnipeg.
